Ancient rustic house
The rustic house of Piozzo di Rosignano Palace was acquired and joined to the main building around the middle of the 19th century, probably by the Earl of Saluzzo. According to documents dated 1802 from the land register, the property was transversally divided into two lots Following that acquisition it was possible to enlarge the rural dwellings and erect the neo-gothic tower and the new stables which used to be in the large palace hall The hall was on the ground floor and was partially surrounded by arcades Modifications to the whole complex were completed only around the end of the 19th century, with variations to the garden and re-painting of the facades according to the original bi-chromatism which once also characterised the noble furniture.
