19th century villa

The Collegio of San Giuseppe is actually a large villa erected in the first quarter of the 19th century Principe Eugenio di Savoia Carignano purchased the Collegio from a local family on May 5th 1874. The new owner extended the villa and its park. The neo-gothic tower facing the main façade, the stuccoes and the exterior decorations of the noble part and the courtyard all date back to that time In 1919 the Opera Pia degli Artigianelli bought the villa, which still belongs to the Giuseppini Fathers. Nowadays, the villa hosts a private school and a sports club.
